Cargo Bar

The Cargo Bar is an independent project room for contemporary art as well as a bar and concert location, hosting between 5 and 6 exhibitions per year.

The Cargo bar was the first place in Basel in which a bar and a cultural room were situated to function side by side in a single space. In a relatively small room many different elements meet: entertainment, a meeting place, drink culture, concert or background music, video, installations.
