Conto 4056

Conto 4056 is a modern style bar located by Voltaplatz Basel. The bar was built inside an old banking hall so you still see the bullet proof glass of the old counter.

The coffee is excellent, made by the rolls royce of coffee machines from the 60ties – but there is excellent food too, mainly sandwiches, cold or toasted, and fingerfood. Going to the restrooms is an experience too, taking the lift down to the bank vault, passing by the massive vault door – and no, the bank didn’t leave any money behind, you can stop looking.
