LAUCH is a plant-based fine-dining restaurant in Basel created by the team behind Zum goldenen Fass. Originally launched in 2021 as a pop-up, the project has evolved into one of the city’s most distinctive contemporary restaurant concepts, centred entirely around seasonal vegetables and regional sourcing.
The kitchen is fully vegan and strongly ingredient-driven, working almost exclusively with local and sustainable produce from the Basel region. In the evening, the restaurant serves multi-course tasting menus alongside a smaller à la carte selection, while lunch remains simpler and more casual. Natural wines and non-alcoholic pairings are an important part of the experience.
