The restaurant “roots” combines its unique location on the banks of the Rhine with the stunning view of Basel’s old town. The menu is filled with the sophisticated dishes conceived by the head chef Pascal Steffen, giving centre stage to vegetables while meat and fish are served as sides.

For its excellent quality, the restaurant has gained 17 Gault Millau points and one Michelin star.
