Rifugio Col Alt

The “Col Alt” lift is the first ski lift ever tested in Italy, back in 1947, originally a single-chair lift and now a modern 8-person cable car and is adjacent to Rifugio Col Alt, situated at 2,000 metres and directly on the ski slopes.
Today, the refuge is spread over two levels: the upper floor houses the bar, snack bar, and coffee shop, along with a terrace featuring a sunbathing area. The ground floor is dedicated to the restaurant, offering full table service. A spacious veranda allows guests to enjoy the fantastic panoramic views, from Sasso Croce to Marmolada.

The restaurant allows you to enjoy traditional dishes, while also offering a range of creative options. A wide selection of wines, ranging from Alto Adige to the rest of Italy and France, is the perfect accompaniment to a lunch or dinner at the refuge.

An “Oyster Corner” completes the gastronomic offering, featuring the freshest oysters and a selection of 16 national champagnes and sparkling wines, perfect for a refined aperitif. In the evening, by reservation, guests can take the snowcat to enjoy candlelit dinners and festive evenings, accompanied by live music.
