Azul Histórico
Right at the heart of Mexico City, Azul Histórico offers traditional Mexican flavours in a rustic yet elegant ambiance.
In the open-air courtyard of a 17th-century colonial palace sits the charming Azul Histórico, a gorgeous space with rustic wooden tables nestled among tall trees draped with soft lights, exposed brick walls, and carved stone columns.
Led by Ricardo Muñoz Zurita, one of Mexico City’s most acclaimed chefs, the restaurant offers unmissable dishes of Mexican cuisine such as the Mole Negro de Oaxaca and the Panuchos de Conchinita. Menus are seasonal and themed, showcasing cuisine from different regions and states of Mexico. The restaurant perfectly executes the classics while also rediscovering lesser-known traditional delicacies. The food is complemented by an excellent selection tequilas and mezcals, along with conventional wines and sweet cocktails.
