After several pop-up iterations and locations, Imbiss finally settled in its current home on the narrow Calle Oslo in Juárez. Founded by Chef Filipe Nives and his partner Ramses Manneck, the restaurant takes its name from the German term “Imbiss”, referring to a small food stall or snack bar. The rangy menu offers a unique blend of influences, combining elegant, Portugal-inspired dishes with street-food and elements of Japanese izakayas. It offers vegetable-forward meals, but its standout dish is their renowned fried chicken.
By night, Imbiss transforms into a lively wine bar, offering carefully selected natural wines attracting industry professionals and chefs from across the city. With its laid-back, back-alley vibe, it is a perfect spot for late-night bites, drinks, and impromptu events.
