Founded by Chef Filipe Nives and his partner Ramses Manneck, the restaurant takes its name from the German term “Imbiss”, referring to a small food stall or snack bar. The rangy menu offers a unique blend of influences, combining elegant, Portugal-inspired dishes with street-food and elements of Japanese izakayas. It offers vegetable-forward meals, but its standout dish is their renowned fried chicken.
By night, Imbiss transforms into a lively wine bar, offering carefully selected natural wines attracting industry professionals and chefs from across the city. With its laid-back, back-alley vibe, it is a perfect spot for late-night bites, drinks, and impromptu events.
