La Docena Oyster Bar
Located in the hip Roma Norte, La Docena serves one of the best seafood of Mexico.
La Docena was originally conceived in Guadalajara, bringing the flavours of New Orleans and Cajún to life, where seafood takes centre stage alongside a selection of small meat plates, creating a combined and eclectic offering.
The venue in Roma Norte is a casual yet charming space, led by chef Tomas Bermundez, who is very careful about sourcing organic ingredients from local producers. The menu showcases very fresh seafood from the Pacific coast (notably the oysters and clams), Black Angus meat, and the classic Louisiana Po ‘Boy sandwiches of fish and seafood in a bread baguette. The food is complemented by an extensive wine list, also including natural wine option, as well as a seasonal cocktail list.
