Tacomotora Tizne

With its neo-industrial decor, metal chairs, uncovered cement walls, and digital art works,  Tacomotora Tizne has the feeling of an underground club. The name Tacomotora, “the taco motor”, explains some of the machinery references in their decor and alludes to the origins of this project. Partners Pilar Canseco and Jorge Vaca started their business with a bike cart outfitted with a meat smoker that they would cart around music festivals, selling what would become their limited menu of smoked-meat tacos.

Today, the taqueria offer tacos in a classical format, but the chefs are nor afraid to mix and match culinary traditions and techniques. Highlights include the aguacate tatemado and the Korean barbecue taco.
