The meat eatery began in 2011 from the idea of Freddy and Danielle Kaufmann. Unsatisfied with the supermarkets’ offer of meat and sausages, the two initiated to experiment to find the best recipes for the “proper English sausages”. In time, they have managed to create an offer of 20 different varieties: after this commercial success, they opened Proper Sausages in 2013 in Miami. There, the menu proposes different butchery and charcuterie pieces, produced in the house or local farms, sided by a selection of craft beers, boutique wines, and a range of condiments.
