Midorie
Midorie honours Japan’s culinary traditions with a refined all-day menu featuring upscale fast-casual donburi, omakase platters and a seasonal à la carte selection of sushi crafted from high-quality ingredients and seafood. Conceived by restaurateur and art dealer Álvaro Perez Miranda, the restaurant offers a serene atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating for just 22 guests, ensuring intimacy and the spirit of kikubari — the Japanese art of attentive care. Midorie also provides shidashi, bespoke curated catering for up to 12 guests.
Álvaro Perez Miranda, founder of Japan Authentic Food Systems and Black Ship Art Gallery, lived in Tokyo for 15 years and has led more than 70 gastronomic projects. Now based in Miami, he expresses his passion for Japanese cuisine and contemporary art through restaurants such as the Edomae-style Hiyakawa, the fast-casual Wabi Sabi and Midorie, with the omakase restaurant Ogawa set to open soon.
