Zak the Baker

Zak The Baker is a large bakeshop located in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District in Miami. The artisan bakery arose from the initiative of the Florida-born Jewish baker Zack Stern, who honed his craft on organic farms across Sweden, France and Israel before returning home to pursue his culinary vision. the place is not just a spot for purchasing pastry and baked products.

The menu centres on beautifully baked goods — breads, pastries, sandwiches, soups and salads. Highlights include a salmon bacon BLT tucked into a buttery croissant, and a flourless dark chocolate cookie studded with toasted almonds.
