Il Baretto Milano

Originally an American bar on Via Sant’Andrea, Il Baretto Milano has been a staple since its opening in the early 1960s, gaining fame thanks to the poet Eugenio Montale, who frequented it regularly. A beloved spot for Milan’s high society, Il Baretto became a cult favorite among artists and film figures. Over time, it evolved into a renowned restaurant relocating first to the Baglioni Hotel and in 2023 to Via Della Spiga 26.

The English influence in the interior design is reimagined with an Italian touch, creating an elegant atmosphere reminiscent of a sophisticated London greenhouse. Exposed iron structures, delicate plants, and natural light filtering through various zones evoke a serene, countryside ambiance.

The cuisine stays true to its Milanese roots while offering a modern twist, creating a menu that combines traditional specialties with innovative touches. Highlights in the menu include Riso al Salto, Cotoletta alla Milanese, Ossobuco, and Gamberi e Mammole.
