Joia is a pioneering vegetarian restaurant known for its innovative and sustainable approach to plant-based cuisine. Founded in 1989 by Chef Pietro Leemann, Joia was the first gourmet vegetarian restaurant in Europe to be awarded a Michelin star in 1996. It has since earned recognition for its commitment to eco-friendly practices, organic ingredients, and sustainability, receiving the prestigious Michelin Green Star in 2020.
