Pastamadre
Pastamadre is a small neighbourhood restaurant in Milan’s Porta Romana district, created by chef Francesco Costanzo, a former photojournalist who turned to cooking with a focus on simple, memory-driven dishes. The cuisine draws heavily on Mediterranean traditions: pasta plays a central role, alongside fish, meat and a strong presence of vegetables and legumes, all sourced from small producers.
The overall approach is straightforward and ingredient-driven, pairing seasonal cooking with natural wines and a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere.
