Pizza Stella
Pizza Stella is a pizzeria in Milan’s Porta Romana area focused entirely on New York–style pizza, a format built around large, thin pizzas baked in metal pans and sold by the slice. The project was opened by Maurizio Tentella and Saro Pomario with the aim of bringing the culture of the New York “slice shop” to the city.
The menu remains concise, with classic options such as margherita or pepperoni alongside a few rotating specials, all prepared with carefully selected Italian ingredients. The space on Via Cadore is compact and informal, with a long counter, a few tables and many customers eating their slice standing outside, echoing the atmosphere of neighbourhood pizzerias in Manhattan.
