Sant Ambroeus Milano
A beloved institution known for its exquisite pastries and chocolates, with a restaurant offering traditional Italian dishes.
Sant Ambroeus Milano, under the culinary direction of Iacopo Falai, offers a sophisticated dining experience that blends the rich traditions of Milanese cuisine with the influence of the restaurant’s origins in the United States. Guests can indulge in classic dishes such as Cotoletta alla Milanese, Spaghetti al Pomodoro, and Linguine al Prezzemolo. The wine list showcases primarily Italian wineries, with a focus on biodynamic and natural producers, complemented by select French and American options. The cocktail menu draws inspiration from U.S. locations, offering both neoclassical and innovative choices.
Sant Ambroeus is also a pastry shop and café. Every day, the impressive central display of the bar offers the best of both national and international pastries, perfect for accompanying the ritual of breakfast or an afternoon snack.
Designed by Fabrizio Casiraghi, renowned for his work in New York, Paris, and Milan, the interiors of Sant Ambroeus Milano reflect meticulous attention to detail. Casiraghi’s design harmonises the restaurant’s interior with the building’s exterior, dating back to 1930, preserving its elegant simplicity while introducing a modern touch. He employed noble materials like wood, stone, and mosaic to create a modern yet timeless aesthetic.
