Trattoria Torre di Pisa

A taste of traditional Tuscan cuisine in the heart of Brera district, Milan.

Trattoria Torre di Pisa is a historic Tuscan restaurant in Milan, serving traditional cuisine for over fifty years. Owned by Alberto Cortesi and his children, the trattoria carries forward a family legacy of offering some of the best dining experiences in the city. The Cortesi family is dedicated to preserving the essence of Tuscan cooking—simple, genuine dishes made with the finest ingredients, including premium extra virgin olive oils, fresh pasta, and carefully selected meats. The philosophy behind the cuisine reflects the warmth and authenticity of the past, rooted in the traditions of rural communities.

The trattoria’s charm lies in its elegant simplicity, creating a homey atmosphere that welcomes all who enter. With its original 1960s decor, including five shop windows on Via Fiori Chiari, wooden chairs, and classic tiled floors, the space has remained largely unchanged. The family spirit is palpable, with shelves displaying wines and familiar objects and paintings that add to the timeless charm.

Trattoria Torre di Pisa is a beloved institution, combining rich history with an inviting, rustic ambiance, and remains a cherished destination for Milan’s discerning diners.
