Jah Jah
Jah Jah is a vegan Afro-Caribbean restaurant in Paris’ 10th arrondissement, created by Coralie Jouhier and Daquisiline Gomis. The project grew out of Le Tricycle, the vegan food bike they launched in 2014, and draws inspiration from Ital, the plant-based cooking tradition associated with Jamaican Rastafarian culture. The menu brings together Caribbean and West African influences through generous bowls, plantain, cassava, tempeh, seasonal vegetables and house-made sauces, all prepared with natural ingredients. With reggae and Afro sounds, colorful interiors and a relaxed atmosphere, Jah Jah feels as much like a cultural meeting place as a restaurant, reflecting the founders’ roots and the community they have built around food, music and creativity.
