Onii san

Onii-San is a Japanese izakaya in the heart of the Marais, created by Arthur Cohen and Olivier Léone after spending time in Japan and developing a shared passion for its culture. Its name means “older brother” in Japanese and is also used as a familiar sign of respect. Inspired by the lively, informal atmosphere of Tokyo izakayas, Onii-San serves creative Japanese small plates designed to be shared, alongside sake and Japanese-inspired drinks. The food draws on traditional Japanese cooking while allowing room for contemporary influences and unexpected combinations. Intimate yet energetic, the restaurant brings the convivial spirit of a Japanese neighborhood tavern to Paris in a colorful, playful setting.
