No fuss, a counter, tables, light wood, white bricks, a delicate dove blue, the right balance between the softness of the wood and the freshness of the blue, that’s Pottoka, the Parisian restaurant of Sébastien Gravé.

Obvious, square shapes, just right for a conversation between two, a bar and a few high tables. The paintings tell the story of the chef’s tastes, based on everyday objects but also on the ingredients of the Basque country, bunches of chilli peppers, the desire for a holiday by the sea, espadrilles to keep your step light, bullock races in Bayonne, Basque pelota games. Sébastien Gravé has chosen to create a place that resembles him, a place dedicated to conviviality, a taste for conversation and the pleasures of the table.
