Da Michele uses local products which are always seasonal and fresh. Known for its pizza al tegamino, this restaurant first opened in 1922 when Michele, a Tuscan originally from Tonfano, in Versilia, came to Turin with the dream of presenting the Savoyard city with his beloved recipes for farinata and “castagnaccio”, a cake made from chestnut flour, dishes typical of his home.
