Al Covo
A small and cozy restaurant, Al Covo was founded as a laboratory dedicated to researching, preserving and celebrating the products and rich culinary heritage of the Venetian lagoon, its islands and the surrounding mainlands.
The restaurant first opened its doors in January 1987, bringing to life a shared dream of Diane and Cesare Benelli. After meeting, marrying, and spending time in the United States, they returned to Venice, driven by a common vision and passion for authentic cuisine and hospitality.
