Birraria La Corte
Restaurant and pizzeria serving contemporary and seasonal Venetian and local cuisine.
Until the seventeenth century, Birraria la Corte was used as a resting place for bulls, released during the carnival games. Subsequently, during the Austrian domination, as evidenced by the nineteenth-century golden mosaic at the entrance, the restaurant was occupied by the first pilsner-method brewery in Italy.
Birraria la Corte opened in 1998, restoring the place with modern materials yet respecting the original structure, aiming to return to this space its noblest function by creating an avant-garde restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. It serves contemporary Venetian cuisine and pizza. The kitchen presents a seasonal and dynamic menu, which has its roots in Venetian recipes and rethinks them in a simple and essential way.
Thanks to its collaboration with Birrificio del Doge, a project of young and local beer lovers, Birraria La Corte succeeds in offering high-quality beverages in a close connection with the local territory.
