Il Mercante was born from the perfect mix of tradition and innovation. The historic Caffe dei Frari is well know in Venice as an elegant cafe since its opening in 1870.
The renovation in 2016 preserved the original design and the historic paintings, but with a new, charming bar designed to provide the best service efficiency.

At Il Mercante, cocktails are the result of a constant process of experimentation and research of flavours.
