Bar Paradiso

Bar Paradiso is a small wine bar in Milan’s Porta Romana district, recognisable by its red awning and a retro aesthetic inspired by 1960s neighbourhood cafés. The space balances a nostalgic atmosphere with a more contemporary wine-focused approach.

Inside, the setting is warm and informal. The wine list centres on natural and organic bottles from across Europe, with a particular focus on Italian and French producers. The food offering is ingredient-driven, built around cold dishes and regional specialties sourced from small Italian producers. A distinctive feature of the bar is its hidden lower level – known as the “Paradiso sotterraneo” – a small underground room accessed through a hatch, used for tastings and occasional special events.
