The pavilion is a homage to Lumturi Blloshmi one of Albania’s most impressive visual artists, who passed away due to Covid-19. “From scratch” is an exhibition project aiming at researching, examining, presenting, and positioning the work and life of the artist within national and international art history.
The essence of the exhibition consists of a selection of Blloshmi’s works from different periods. Through a virtually built environment, the public will have access to Blloshmi’s personal world and creative environment. This piece aimed at creating a kind of virtual archive will be created in close collaboration between curator and British virtual reality artist Alexander Walmsley. A film about Happiness Blloshmi will be made in the form of an essay documentary.
