The pavilion explores Eastern aesthetics through a conceptual framework that uses water as a central thread and dreams as a conceptual horizon. The exhibition interweaves Eastern philosophical thought and natural imagery with the language of contemporary art.

Under this direction, the China Academy of Art operates as an integrated system of research and interdisciplinary practice. The presentation features a diverse range of media, including calligraphy, painting, moving image, and algorithmic modelling. The inclusion of the Game Science team introduces digital visual experiences into the exhibition context. Participating artists, such as Xu Jiang, Yang Fudong, and Wang Dongling, form a cross-media trajectory of visual expression that ranges from traditional techniques to modern technology.

Through a fluid and poetic narrative structure, “Dream Stream” responds to the broader Biennale theme “In Minor Keys”. The exhibition aims to convey an introspective sensibility and a profound expression of Eastern thought to a global audience, fostering a dialogue between different cultural perspectives and artistic disciplines.
