The exhibition is a collective process of research and reconstruction of the atmosphere but also of the economy and work of the “other” provincial festival beyond the well-known postcards and nostalgic expressions of the “traditional” and the “authentic” which has started 2 years ago on behalf of Onassis Culture.

The focus of the research was the festivals in the mountainous Xiromero of Etoloakarnania in contrast to the fertile plain of Thessaly, the atmosphere of which was recorded “with documentary methods, oral history, a lot of observation and a lot of emotion“. This condition which they have already tried to reconstruct in different ways in the context of the Margaroni Residency commissioned by Onassis Culture, as Onassis Air Fellows , in two factory spaces in Athens they will try to see how they can transfer to the 250 square meters of the Greek Pavilion” with the materials and the power” of their own space, “of the performing arts but without the presence of a body.”
