Drawing from Xochimilco’s lake-based agriculture, “Chinampa Veneta” blends traditional Mexican polyculture with Italian agroforestry to explore sustainable, regenerative design. The project bridges ecological histories of Mexico and Venice, advocating for a design philosophy that collaborates with nature, highlighting soil health, biodiversity, and collective knowledge as foundations for a resilient future.
