Exhibited simultaneously at the White Cube in Lusanga (DRC), the display showcases sculptures crafted from earth sourced from the surrounding forests, symbolizing the restoration of sacred land. CATPC aims for the temporary return of the Diviner’s Figure from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts to bolster their cause. Their film, “The Judgement of the White Cube,” urges Western museums to engage with indigenous communities and back land reclamation. Martens and Khalidi integrate CATPC into the Dutch entry for Biennale Arte 2024, advancing their story in the Mondriaan Fund-commissioned catalog.
