The concept of introspection is explored through Janešlieva‘s conceptual-visual panopticum, confronts us with the complexities of otherness and distinctiveness. It challenges us to grapple with feelings of strangeness and the omnipresence of difference within ourselves and others. Whether it be based on gender, sexual orientation, appearance, demeanor, attitude, illness, nationality, religion, language, or political orientation, the concept prompts us to consider our acceptance or rejection of labels imposed by society.
