Both proposals for the Romanian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (one for the Giardini and one for the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research (RICHR) in Cannaregio are the two components of the Mnemonics concept.
The exhibition at RICHR analyzes the dialougue between the metal bar which is often used by children to create a goal post when they play football, the merry-go-round as well as the swing and the public space between the apartment and the yard – the apartment building staircase hallway.
