The Sierra Leone National Pavilion marks its debut at the International Art Exhibition with “Worlds of Today”, an exhibition conceived as a space for listening, research and transformation. The project moves away from displaying static works, instead bringing together Sierra Leonean, West African, and international artists in a dynamic dialogue centred on care, memory, and social responsibility. The exhibition unfolds as a fluid environment where boundaries dissolve and artworks interact, suggesting interconnected narratives and shared futures.

In this context, art is presented as a catalyst for ethical reflection and collective change, addressing themes of peace, environmental justice, and new forms of coexistence. An expanded section dedicated to ECOWAS introduces a transnational perspective to the pavilion. This creates a polyphonic and politically resonant platform that reflects the complexity of contemporary West Africa.
