Marko Peljhan presents a work from his “Resolution” series, developed over the last 20 years as a set of tools providing applicable solutions to some compelling issues of contemporary society. “Here we go again… SYSTEM 317″ is a counter-privateering machine conceived by the artist for the future moment in which the world’s great empires will find themselves to confront each other. The artist’s work focuses on the analysis of technological improvements in contemporary society and the way in which structures of power exploit them for administration, control, production or military applications.
