A monumental cartographic project spanning two decades. Through experimental architecture and allegorical maps, the artist probes the nexus of urban space, collective imagination, and national identity. The immersive installation, adorned with classical elements, challenges assumptions of Western racial superiority.
“The Miracle of Helvetia” portrays Switzerland as a surreal paradise, blending nature and technology, capitalism and democracy. Linked by a corridor, “Roma Talismano” offers a phantasmagorical vision of Roman civilization, embodying moral and cultural superiority. Ventura Profana’s performance as the Capitoline wolf critiques mythical constructs of white identity. Ultimately, the exhibition invites viewers to scrutinize celebratory self-representation and confront prevailing clichés in a polarized political climate.
