Inspired by the title of a film by the acclaimed Thai filmmaker Apichatpong Weerasethakul, “Blissfully Yours” talks about the life of spaces after the designers have happily handed over the authorship to users in ten selected projects. The stories are told through an alternative medium; and are the results of a collaboration between architects, filmmakers, illustrators, professional and amateur photographers. Thailand Pavilion 2018 looks at the interaction between people and space in Thai society; and celebrates the ingenuity of the locals and ordinary users as much as the architects.
