Venezuela at the 59th Venice Biennale presents “Tierra, País, Casa, Cuerpo“, an exhibition that gathers together the works of Palmira Correa, César Vázquez, Mila Quast and Jorge Recio.

Palmira Correa, who presents her work “La casa de Palmira” is a Venezuelan painter who embodies Venezuelan daily life, going beyond her disabilities.

Mila Qast and César Vásquez present a video installation called “Dyslexia“, a proposal linked to the Covid 19 pandemic.

Finally, the exhibition feature “Events of April“, Jorge Recio‘s last photographs before his death, which occurred during the spring coup in 2002, when the then-president Hugo Chávez Frías was overthrown for 46 hours.
