The Pavilion of Zimbabwe at the La Biennale di Venezia speaks to the current histories and the human experience across the globe. However, conflict resolution has become “Soko Risina Musoro” (A Word without a Meaning) and yet they have been there since time immemorial. Conflicts are a danger to human development and conflicts come in different forms as they affect human development. This is why the world is in disarray today, hence, the role and function of contemporary art is to bring the dialogue closer to home countries maybe conflicts around the globe can be resolved.
