1-54 London 2020 is currently underway at Somerset House. Over the past seven years 1-54 has established itself as a leading voice in the global discussion on contemporary African art. This years’ fair sees 30 international exhibitors representing a selection of the best contemporary African artists on show at Somerset House, as well as online through 1-54 Online, Powered by Christie’s.

As ever the fair is accompanied by 1-54 Forum, its extensive programme of artists’ talks, film screenings and panel discussions that will be curated by Julia Grosse and Yvette Mutumba from Contemporary And (C&); and is taking place online.

1-54 Online, Powered by Christie’s 7-12 October, offers virtual booths that feature 30 works from each gallery, as well as providing a spotlight series on individual artists, all of which will be globally accessible.

1-54 Highlights, is a curated pop-up exhibition including one work from each 1-54 exhibitor and is taking place in the Duke Street Gallery within Christie’s Headquarters at King Street, on view to the public from 6-12 October 2020.
