Chinese Artist and dissident Ai Weiwei has installed a five-column installation on the building of Berlin’s Konzerthaus: it’s made with  14,000 life vests from refugees who landed on the Greek Island of Lesbos after battling the Mediterranean Sea from Turkey. The life jackets were donated to the artist by the Greek Governament.

The aim of the installation is to draw attention to the refugees that are trying to reach Europe since when the refugees crisis started last year.

Ai Weiwei has been working from the Greek island of Lesbos, where thousands of refugees land after their journey from their countries.
