Art Basel 2024

From 13 to 16 June 2024, Art Basel fair in Basel brings the international artworld together. It features over 200 leading galleries and more than 4,000 artists from five continents. Many exhibitions take place concurrently in and around Basel, creating a region-wide art week.

The fair takes place at the Swiss exhibition site Messe Basel, featuring a hall designed by international architects Herzog & de Meuron of Basel.

Art Basel’s show in Basel is divided into sectors. Each sector has a specific focus, from monumental works to solo presentations by emerging artists.

Unlimited
“Unlimited” is Art Basel‘s exhibition platform for projects that transcend the classical art fair stand. It provides exhibitors the opportunity to present monumental installations, colossal sculptures, boundless wall paintings, comprehensive photo series, expansive video projections, and live performances.

Conversations
“Conversations” programme provides a platform for dialogue and exchange on contemporary art.

Parcours
The “Parcours” sector at Art Basel is a showcase of site-specific installations, sculptures, interventions, and performances situated in public spaces and historic sites throughout the city of Basel.
