2017 will be Art Dubai‘s first edition under the new director Myrna Ayad and will take place from the 15th to the 18th of March 2017, a few days after the opening of the Sharjah Biennial.

The fair will feature more the 90 galleries from 40 countries around the world; of these, 25 are attending the fair for the first time.

“We are delighted to welcome new galleries and countries presenting for the first time, alongside lots of returning friends of the fair and it’s fantastic to be working with the team to drive forward what has always been the cultural powerhouse of the region. Art Dubai continues to spearhead the cultural development of the local and regional landscape, and in addition to the four days of the fair, Art Dubai is consistently present internationally, supporting and partnering with institutions, galleries and patrons, and hosting events in recognition of our combined efforts”, said the new Fair Director.

Art Dubai will be divided into Contemporary and Modern sections and will, as during the previous editions, have a rich programming of events.

International galleries exhibiting at the fair in 2017 include: Victoria Miro (London), Franco Noero (Turin), Marianne Boesky (New York), Athr (Jeddah), Selma Feriani (Tunis) among others.
