Art-o-rama 19th Edition in Marseille

This summer marks the 19th edition of Art-o-rama, one of the key meeting points for contemporary art in Europe, from 29 to 31 August 2025 at La Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille. Taking place in Marseille as well as online through the Immaterial Salon, the fair brings together more than 60 galleries and publishers from across the world. Known for its selective and forward-looking approach, Art-o-rama offers visitors an encounter with both established figures and emerging voices shaping the international art landscape.

The 2025 edition introduces a brand-new section dedicated to contemporary design, expanding the fair’s scope to reflect the intersections between art, design and creative practice. Alongside the main presentations, a special programme of free screenings and conversations will create opportunities for dialogue and critical reflection, accessible to a broad audience beyond the fair’s core participants.

Set within Marseille’s vibrant cultural context, Art-o-rama also connects to the wider artistic fabric of the southern region, engaging with renowned institutions and sites stretching from Monaco to Montpellier, including Arles, Hyères and Nice. This regional network adds a unique dimension, situating the fair within a cultural heritage that is both deeply rooted and outward-looking.

Produced by Fræme, in co-production with La Friche la Belle de Mai, Art-o-rama continues to grow as a platform for discovery and exchange, offering a distinctive perspective on contemporary creation while strengthening Marseille’s role as an international cultural hub.
