Art Week Mexico City 2023

The biggest art fair in Latin America, Zona Maco México Arte Contemporáneo, returns to Mexico City, from February 8-12, 2023. This year the fair is divided into four sections: Main Section / ZⓈONAMACO Ejes, curated by Direlia Lazo (Havana, 1984) / ZⓈONAMACO Sur, curated by Luiza Texeira de Freitas (Río de Janeiro, 1984) / ZⓈONAMACO Modern Art, curated by Esteban King (Mexico City, 1986).

Unmissable exhibitions elsewhere around the capital include, Alicja Kwade’s exhibition Silent Matter at OMR Gallery, MASA Gallery with two solo exhibitions by Brian Thoreen with Non- Zero-Sum and Mario García Torres with The Space Under My Chair & The Music I Was Listening To. Kurimanzutto Gallery presents the exhibition modèle vivant by Nairy Baghramian, whilst Galeria Hilario Galguera presents works by Bosco Sodi. Last but not least, Children’s Games by Francis Alÿs on show at Museo Universitario Arte Contemporáneo–MUAC, is an absolute must!
