Arte Fiera 2025

Arte Fiera 2025 returns from 7 to 9 February, with a preview on 6 February, following its landmark 50th anniversary in 2024. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Simone Menegoi and Operational Director Enea Righi, the fair continues its legacy at Bologna Fiera’s historic pavilions, presenting a dynamic mix of established and emerging artists, galleries, critics, and institutions.

This edition will feature 176 galleries, including significant returns such as Apalazzo, Laveronica, and Franco Noero, alongside new participants like Gió Marconi and Magazzino. The fair’s layout is organised into five main sections: Percorso, Pittura XXI, Fotografia e immagini in movimento, Multipli, and the newly introduced Prospettiva.

Percorso offers a thematic journey that connects selected stands, while Pittura XXI focuses on contemporary painting. The Fotografia e immagini in movimento section delves into photography and moving images, and Multipli showcases works produced in editions. Prospettiva highlights the next generation of artists and galleries.

Special projects will also feature at the fair, including Maurizio Nannucci’s “Opus Novum #7” and performances by Adelaide Cioni in collaboration with Fondazione Furla. Book presentations and discussions on the intersection of art and publishing will further enrich the experience.

Additionally, Arte Fiera honours excellence through various awards: the BPER Prize for works addressing women’s issues, the Marval Acquisition Award for emerging artists, and the Premio Collezione Righi, which supports the MAMbo museum’s collection.

Arte Fiera collaborates with BPER, Flash Art Italia, and the Art City Bologna programme, which brings exciting exhibitions and installations throughout the city.
