Avant – Young 2021 | #safety

From November 11 to 13, on the occasion of the contemporary art exhibition program Avant – Young 2021 | #safety, Volvo Studio Milano will host the exhibition of three students from the Brera Academy, Milan, selected by Lightbox, in collaboration with Volvo. The initiative hosted by Volvo Studio Milano brings attention to the creative talent of young artists.

Chiara Melluso, Han Tao and Manuel Walter are the three artists who will exhibit at Volvo Studio Milano, chosen by Lightbox, in collaboration with Volvo, from a group of students proposed by a committee of three professors, appointed by the Academy Director Giovanni Iovane. The three professors involved are: Prof. Cristina Galli, Vice Director and Professor of Artistic Anatomy; Prof. Stefano Pizzi, Head of External Relations, Member of the Board of Directors and Professor of Painting; Prof. Giuseppe Sabatino, Dean of the Department of Visual Arts and Professor of Decoration.

Volvo’s values are also embodied in terms of active participation in society; this is the context in which Volvo Studio Milano, a refined Scandinavian-inspired environment, is set. It is the place where the public can meet Volvo and its values through a program of cultural events based on four main themes: Arts, Design, Music and Taste. In this way, Volvo talks about itself and its journey towards the future, projecting the scenarios of tomorrow’s sustainable mobility.
