A diverse agenda of activities will complement the exhibitions programme through performances, comented visits, talks, presentations and special gatherings, as well as:

Highlights include:

Curator Walks: Seven local curators will guide visitors through personalized tours of the galleries, offering unique perspectives on the exhibitions. The walks, led by curators like Xavier Acarín and Carles Guerra, will be available as text guides on the BGW website for self-guided exploration.

ARCO GalleryWalks: Supported by the ARCO Foundation, this free program offers 14 guided itineraries across the participating galleries. Artists and gallery owners will present their exhibitions in person, providing an enriching experience for attendees.

BGW Familiar: Designed for families with children, these interactive visits encourage participants to explore the art through games and questions. Held on Sunday, September 22, and Saturday, September 28, the program offers a fun, educational way to engage with contemporary art.

Professional Programme: For collectors and art professionals, the weekend will feature exclusive tours, special gatherings, and studio visits with local artists. This is a unique opportunity to network and explore Barcelona’s dynamic art scene.

Acquisitions Programme: This initiative, aimed at private companies and foundations, fosters the incorporation of artworks from participating galleries into their collections. Returning participants include Fundació Vila Casas, with newcomers Fundació Sorigué and Fundació Úniques, focusing on promoting women artists from the Països Catalans region.
