Bolzano Art Week #3: play_ground

BAW has reached its 3rd edition: born in 2020, almost ‘for fun’ from a meeting in a playground, the chosen theme for this edition – play_ground – returns to the carefree, energetic, and engaging spirit of its origins.

More than 50 exhibitions, 100 events, 70 locations and 100 partners.

Whether individual or collective, BAW 2023 explores the meaning of ‘play’ as the primary and principal form of knowledge of the world and transforms into a collector of spaces and places that open up to contemporary art and its multiple forms, which become a game/tool for investigating today and exploring the city.

Play transcends the space-time of reality to open up the realm of possibility.
