Capri The Island Of Art to Launch its 2nd Edition

“Capri The Island of Art” is an open air contemporary art festival that runs from September 11th to the 19th.

The open air exhibition is conceived by Franco Senesi, President of the homonymous cultural association that organizes the event in partnership with the city of Capri.  Capri Island of Art will involve artists of the contemporary scene, which are invited to dialogue with the symbolic places of the island. Guest curator of the festival is Sergio Risaliti who is presenting the exhibition entitled “Capri Orient Express”, with artists Marco Bagnoli, Domenico Bianchi and Remo Salvadori, in the church of the Certosa di San Giacomo, in collaboration with the Museum of Polo Regionale Campania, and the Villa Lysis.
